Gundam Musou 2 (Review)

Luckily PS2 version also released on Dec 2008. Finally it come out & i really addicted on this game indeed. There another name for this is Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2. Currently i playing on a japanese version & i cannot find a english version at Kuala Lumpur. Still, i can get translation on internet. Haha...

I wanted to write a summary about this type of gundam war fighting game. Definitely, it is an action RPG (Hack and slash). Its avaible for 2 players aswell. Compare to the first Gundam Musou Special, this is much more features to play with. But this game may only suit certain people if you:

1. Wanted to use melee combat against horde of enemy continuously.
2. Wanted to use rocket or laser to kill a horde of enemy continuously.
3. No require much war strategic or hard thinking.
4. Quick loading, rapid fighting, straight forward.
5. Gain highest attack damage = One hit = die. No blood. No violent.
6. Upgrade stat in a very simple way. Compare & choose the best to replace item.
7. Battle result recorded. How many you kill? Total hour of gameplay? etc.

Anyway, there are a lot of gundam you can pilot. Win a battle to unlock skill, body part, movie, gallery & so on. Each mission you can switch to any difficult before you start. If you are an aggressive player, get in easy mode. So that the enemy will be slow & wont damage you much, then you can easily shoot down 1000++ less than 10 min. Or else, in hard mode. You need to defence a lot & use the combat skill wisely. It's a long term gameplay to complete everything. But in the meantime, you can enjoy various of gundam fighting tactic.

However, this game had included all gundam from previous version: Gundam Musou Special. For me, i hope that could try a whole new gundam list. Because it has content about 70% same gundam. In my opinion, this game is a great advanced & massive expansion set for Gundam Musou Special. Also, i believe who admire gundam design will love this.

The only bad thing is explosion efx & laser sound not so perfect.

Rate: 8/10
